The Plot and levels take place in New York City, Off shore islands, and space. The plot is about Doctor doom creating and using a weapon on earth. The supers try to catch him and are sidetracked with other villains throughout the game. There are also side missions witch you can take in between and after the game levels are finished.
Once you are finished with the main levels you can explore all of Manhattan Island. The main goals in the game are completing all main levels and side levels, unlocking all characters, all gold bricks and Deadpool bricks (Red Bricks), and unlocking Stan Lee. To unlock Stan Lee you must find him throughout New York City. Once yo save him a lot (I forget how many times) you can unlock him. To unlock Deadpool, you must unlock and buy all red bricks, such as Studs x 2, Disguises, etc. Then you read a comic in his room in the helicarrier.
